From Patient to Paper: How to Create Scholarly Activity for the Clinician

SUMMARY:
Scholarly activity is a critical component of today’s graduate medical education system. Students, residents and faculty all have a role to play and need to understand how to create scholarly work in the context of clinical training and practice. As a clinician-educator- investigator, and now editor, the presenter has learned many lessons through his career that he will share on how to create and disseminate scholarly activity. What are the hurdles to overcome and steps to create a valuable and publishable manuscript?
